Momo had a secret. Well, another one. It made two or maybe three. Definitely not more than many and fewer than lots. It was a secret worth keeping.
In the biggest house Momo had ever seen, the burning dragon boy would often have gatherings in a room bordered by fire. He'd sit up on a little wooden chair high above the floor and address a room full of men though a sheet of flame. Before the long, boring, discussion began someone would bring him a tray with delicious treats and set it beside his chair.
But the burning dragon boy rarely ate his treats and instead would push them behind the chair, out of his way. He never seemed to notice grabby little paws snatching colourful piles of fish and fruit and rice. And if he did notice...
Well, that would be his secret.
