This is pretty much what I wake up to every morning - my baby girl sleeping in some bizarre way on top of my best friend. Life just doesn't get much better that, folks.
I like my classes this semester, and I LOVE my Biological Structure & Function class. The prof is so funny and he actually wants us to learn instead of just short-term memorizing shit and spitting it back out at him. I'm actually really psyched to be a nurse, which is good because I already HAVE a bachelor's degree yet I'm choosing to go through ANOTHER 3 years of school to get a 2nd bachelor's in nursing. If I was just sort of "eh" about it, I'd be in some serious fucking trouble. I WILL get straight As this semester, mark my words.
I really miss my clavicle piercings and I wanna get them done again even though they seemed to always look angry and red. The vast majority of people thought they looked disgusting - and felt the need to tell me so on a regular basis - but I thought they were adorable so everyone else can just fuck off. Anyone who thinks I did that for attention or to impress people doesn't realize that I constantly had to defend my reasons for getting them and deal with obnoxious-ass comments. If if wanted to impress people, I'd simply have to go out and get some big stupid tattoos of guns that I would end up hating myself for after all this trendy bullshit dies down. Duh.
My poor car hates me and the brakes just get gayer and gayer with each passing day. My dad even offered to pay to get them fixed because my school books were so ridiculously expensive, I just cannot conceivably be without a car for long enough to take it in. Fuck. Being grown up (or at least pretending to be) is such a dick in the ass.
