almost summer.
So sitting here in study hall, I realize that I have so much to get finished by next month. Not that much of it matters a great deal, but it would be nice to get it all finished. I just don’t have the will power to sit down and focus on studying or filling out an application. I’m not even a junior yet and I’m worrying about the same stuff they have to go through now. And then these auditions that are coming up next Sunday, the top 15 get a chance to perform at the Benedum where the audience gets to pick the winner. It’s $1000, two round-trip tickets to New York, AND you get to perform at the APPOLO! Wow, just imagine that. I can’t! I know I have NO chance whatsoever, but it’s nice to dream. I can at least give it a shot, can’t I?
Crew, though, is making me so happy, more so than I thought it would. The weather has been awesome the majority of the time, I’m getting to know the people on the team so much more, and we have a race this weekend! (If any of you don’t mind dragging yourself down to the river at 10 in the morning, come see us race! I don’t expect anyone to come, but it was worth it to ask! he he.)
Only 9 more weeks of school!! Then summerrrr!!! Oh yeah, those ridiculous tests this morning and the next two days are such a waste of time! What a blast it will be next year with even more stress and homework and tests and exams and deadlines and college applications…woot flippin’ hoot.
