wonderful pictures
today i took my first midterm exam. dr. stepanski's tests are no joke. it was a blue book and a half of writing in 50 minutes. it was tiresome.
next it was off to rivier college to run a race. it was a very interesting race. normally, in the beginning of a race i stick in a group equal to my level and then try to move up a few places later in the race. today, the competition wasn't that serious, so i was in the lead pack. after about a mile or so, i grew tired of the slow pace, and ran all by myself in the lead. it was great! unfortunately i didn't know the course and that was tough. then after 3 miles things got worse, i died out. in the mext two miles i was passed by 5 people, that blew. it blew for a few reasons. first of all, i got slow and felt bad. secondly, in the beginning everone was like 'whose that kid! you're doing awesome!' then they were like.... oooooh, keep it up, almost done. damnit. but when i finished i had a personal best time by like 50 seconds! which is pretty good. but i got beat by kids that i usually beat. so it was a confusing race. coach said i did well though. and that when we return to rivier in two weeks, i would be ready. and i trust tony, so it's all good.
when i returned to emmanuel triple a invited me out to eat. so i went and it was good. i spent a lot of cash, but it was worth it. they talked a lot. they were really girly, and it was interesting to see the p.o.v of a lot of things. i think they are crazy....
then i came up stairs, got harrassed, and then went into 319! aka the coolest room this side of the sun. i drew wonderful pictures for four wonderful ladies. and created a livejournal. sweet. what a day.
