Sims Mods

So I've been playing the Sims for a few days now, and have gotten the hang of things. My sims have paired off (Me and Michelle, with no real effort involved, and James and Sanam, with only a little effort), the money is flowing pretty easily, and I'm able to more or less let them do as they please (except that friendships are still quite elusive

Damn you.

I installed everything up to and including the newly downloaded Freetime last night. I haven't done any mods save for the Censor Blur removal and the CEP, but even if I don;t use the body mods, there are still a LOT of things I need to make the game fun again. By the time I get it all set up, Sims 3 will be here!

I'll burn you some DvDs tonight since we'll be seeing you guys in the a.m. ;)

haha I know what you mean. After seeing what people were putting up on tqc_sims, I came into this game expecting something a little different. I'm definitely going to be grabbing mods as much as possible.

P.s. so that I know what you will need to get all this installed, what Expansions came with what you got?
I have hard copies of University and Pets (as well as base game, but I know you have that one) and just trying to figure out what needs to be burned and what you'll flat out borrow. =)
Everything besides Base, Uni and Pets I have already burned to the disks.

It's so odd how they package those things. Anywho, yeah I can set you up. I'll run over it with ya tomorrow morning.

We just got a Cease And Desist order from EA for getting Freetime yesterday. I have gotten 2 of those in my life as a Pirate, one from Lucas and now one from EA. Hey, if yer gonna get popped, might as well get popped by the two biggest names in the industry! ;)

And yeah, I don't understand the packaging system, either. I guess they put the lowest-selling expansion with the default edition? I still haven't figured out how to go "out" on a date, so all of my dates have consisted of toaster pastries and sitting on the couch.
