I am broke but I would have to say sometime before the 11th. In fact the sooner the better. Get it over with and let the idiocy run rampant among the chaos!

Question: Do you think (on a personal level) that the disasters that have become more frequent are a sign of the "end times"? Or do you believe that this is all part of what has been going on for millions of years? Or is it something that Mother Nature is doing to kind of "spring clean"? I know you don't believe in my Mother Nature but the Earth as a living thing--do you think it is just taking wrath out on what we have been doing to her over the last couple centuries with the pullution and the global warming? Just curious, we are having a debate on one of my frequented web pages and I thought I would like someones POV who is intellegent and can give an opinion without it being an attack.

To be honest, with all sincerity I don't know. Cliche answer perhaps, but it comes from a very honest place. I've grown up hearing all the speculations about this and that regarding judgment and how many natural disasters are God's way of judging His people, etc. Who knows? None of us can for sure. We can all offer speculation, but nobody knows for sure until we are before the Father Himself and if we are so inclined, to ask Him. Hurricanes and natural disasters have been going on for a really long time, but I would have to look into the archives to see if the frequency has shown any significant increase

What gets me is how some people take the Word and twist it to fit what they want it to, THAT complicates things for me. Religion has become something for me that is almost black and white. I think in all essence we are all trying to accomplish the same thing more or less. I also think more emphasis should be based off of who someone is and now what they do in certain areas. Which I guess is not so black and white but to me it is. Simplifies things I guess. I think the comments made by Robertson and Falwell were in very bad taste but I agree with you that they probably had better intentions than what the media granted them. There is a lot of hypocracy out there but I DO know Robertson is a highly respected man in the church (Falwell is hit and miss
