The Marina Alphabetacy: Transformed - Chapter 5a - Part Two

After catching up with Albus and Amelia, they met up with Beth and Drizzle. Annie then led the group to Agatha’s house.

“Annie!” Agatha greeted. “You made it!”

“Yeah, I snuck out” Annie said with a small smile.

Agatha laughed. “Come in you guys!”

As Annie stepped into the house, Kristen squealed with delight. “Annie! I’m so glad you came!” she said as she pulled Annie into a hug.

Downstairs, in the basement, the party was in full swing. Annie and Beth began dancing to the radio, Amelia and Albus began playing darts, the snooker game was underway and some people decided to just talk to each other, exchanging the latest gossip.

“I’m just going to the toilet!” Annie shouted to Beth over the music.

He nodded and continued to dance, this time by himself.

As Annie walked up the stairs towards the house, she saw Janis, Anna and Bella sitting of the wicker furniture. She quickly shuffled into the house and shut the door behind her, not wanting to hear what they had to say.

As the girls began to laugh at Annie’s attempt to avoid them, Janis stood up.

“I’ll be back in a minute” she said as she grinned down at the other two girls. “I’ve got to go see one of my best friends.”

-----

“Sam!” Albus exclaimed as he greeted his friend. “I didn’t know you’d be here!”

Sam laughed slightly and then replied “Yeah, Agatha is my sister.”

“I’m glad you’re here”

“So.... want to play some snooker?” Sam asked.

“Sure!” Albus agreed happily.

------

“I need your help!” Amelia said as she ran up to Beth.

“What’s the matter?” Beth replied.

“The boy, the blond one over by the sofas” Amelia began to explain as she discreetly pointed the boy she was discussing. “I think .... I like him” she said as her cheeks began to flush.

“Why don’t you try talking to him?” he suggested.

“I can’t, I’m way too nervous! I’ll just make myself look like a fool!”

“Melia, if you don’t talk to him now, you’ll never have the confidence to do it. You just need to grit your teeth and do it”

Amelia stayed silent for a moment, considering the task ahead of her. “O...Okay” she finally replied.

Amelia walked towards the boy, anxious for the outcome of the conversation.

“Er... Hey!” Amelia stuttered once she’d finally reached him.

The boy turned around and smiled at Amelia. “Hi!” he replied before turning around to talk to his friend once again.

“Er.... my name’s Amelia!” she replied, trying to make some attempt at a conversation.

“Oh... right” the boy replied and then continued to ignore Amelia.

“I was wondering if...  maybe you’d like to ... go out sometime?” Amelia persisted.

The boy and his friend laughed for a moment. “I’m sorry, but I’ve already got a girlfriend.”

“Oh, that’s okay.” Amelia said before quickly climbing the stairs to the house.

------

Outside, Sam and Albus were playing with one of the footballs they had found lying on the grass.

“Thanks for playing with me” Albus said, grinning.

“Yeah, I had fun” Sam replied.

Albus caught a glimpse of Sam’s smile and leaned in. He’d grown close to Sam since they first became friends and he had longed for this moment for a while now.

Sam sharply pulled away from Albus.

“What do you think you’re doing Al?” Sam asked.

Albus stayed silent as he felt his heart shatter. He’d been so stupid to think that the feelings were being reciprocated.

“I’m sorry Sam, I thought...” Albus apologized.

“You thought what?!” Sam responded, his voice beginning to get louder now.

“It’s nothing, I’ll just go.”

“Nothing?! You just tried to kiss me Albus! That is not nothing!”

“Look, I’m sorry, okay? I got the wrong impression off of you and I said I was sorry” Albus replied, beginning to flush with embarrassment.

“You got the impression that I was gay. Well, I’m not a freak like you Albus so I don’t know where you got that impression from”

Albus stayed silent, not knowing what to reply with. He felt embarrassed and betrayed by his best friend.

Sam smirked. “Now, just fuck off Albus before I satisfy my strong urge to punch you”.

------

Amelia sat on the slide. It was cold outside and the wind made her skin stand on end, but she paid no notice to this. Thinking over what had just happened, Amelia felt ashamed and embarrassed over what she had asked. She was stupid to think that the boy would like her back and her confidence had taken a severe knock. Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a voice.

“What’s the matter?” Drizzle asked as she walked towards the slide Amelia was sitting on.

It took Amelia a moment to fully understand what Drizzle had asked. She felt as though she’d just woken up from a deep sleep.

“Oh.... I was just thinking about something” she finally replied.

“About what?”

Amelia laughed. “What’s it got to do with you?”

“I was just wondering” Drizzle responded, her face breaking into a huge smirk.

The two were silent for a few moments, neither of them knowing what to say.

“It’s way too cold out here. I found a little shed round the other side of the house, wanna come and sit in there with me?” Drizzle asked.

Amelia thought this question over for a moment before replying. She felt extremely shy being alone with a girl that he’d only met that night.

“Sure” Amelia responded.

Amelia followed Drizzle across the small garden and towards the other side of the house. When they reached this side of the house, they turned a corner and saw a small shed distanced about a metre away from the house. Drizzle stepped right inside and held the door open for Amelia. Amelia was a little reluctant to go inside, but after a small deliberation she walked through the door quickly.

-------

Upstairs, Annie stood on a small balcony on the back of the house. She was beginning to calm down after seeing Janis and her friends at the party. The sight of them had shocked her and she was beginning to put off going downstairs to try and avoid them.

She heard the door open behind her and before she could turn round to see who it was, she heard their voice.

“There you are, I’ve been looking everywhere for you” Janis said as she strode across the balcony.

“Why?” Annie replied.

“I wanted to see where you were going, what you were up to etc.” Janis replied with a grin.

“I don’t understand why you’re so obsessed with me?” Annie responded. “All you ever do is follow me around or wait for me to go past and then you tease me or push me over or try and trip me up! Is it because you’re just bored, or do you have some weird obsession with me?”

“Obsession? With you?” Janis said scowling. “You must be joking, nobody would be obsessed with you, you’re just a lonely, friendless freak Annie”

Annie opened her mouth to speak but she felt a sudden pain in the side of her face. It took her a few seconds to work out what had happened. Janis had slapped her right across the face.

Annie could feel the blood rushing to her face, but she could also feel it boiling up in her. Instinctively, Annie pushed her hands forward and shoved Janis hard in the chest.

Janis screamed slightly as she was pushed and she tried to side step, but before she’d had the chance to move her feet reached the railing and she flipped straight over it. Annie stood still as she watched Janis fall from the balcony. As she hit the floor, there was a dull thud and Janis lay still. A scream echoed around the garden as Annie quickly slipped back inside the house.

Thanks for reading everyone! Sorry for the long wait for the chapter but I’ve had numerous laptop/internet problems over the past few weeks. Although, after organising all my pictures this morning I’ve seen that I have almost 7 chapters ready to write because I’ve played way to far in-game.

I might try and post some picspam from these next few chapters in the next few days, but I’d like to start writing some of these chapters up soon-ish.

I also have a few projects I want to continue with/start which include a Baby Challenge, An Asylum, The Simselves Story and a possible other project.

I hope you enjoyed the chapter!
