Harry Potter Thirty Day Meme: Days Two to Five!
So, Chip skipped ahead on this meme to catch up with Jules and the others and seeing as I didn't want to be left behind, I skipped ahead too xD.
Day Two - Favourite Film
Although they missed a lot out of this film, I still love it xD The first scene with the Death Eaters through London is made of win xD Also, the whole Ron and Hermione thing is so cute xD Luna is awesome! Burrow exploding scene is so good! Jim Broadbent is this film is amazing and it made me cry with the whole wand thing after Dumbledore died. The only bad part was Ginny, she was terrible in this film.
Day Three - Is there any of the films adaptations that have made you angry because they’ve ignored important parts of the book?
Yes! The last films have been awful at this. I mean both OoP and HBP films manage to get through the first 10 chapters in about half an hour. It's so annoying. One of my favourite parts of OoP is the long battle in the MoM at the end, and the film cut so much out of this!
Also, it annoys me how they ignore the sub-plots in the films, which then become bigger plots in the later films, like the whole Bill and Fleur thing. I mean, they are so going to rush the wedding and their relationship in DH.
There are more, but I can't be bothered to rant about them now :)
Day Four - Least Favourite Female Character
Ginny just really gets on my nerves. I liked her up until the last books, and the last few films too. I hate how she was really small in the first three books and then suddenly she's a powerful witch and beautiful and amazing at Quidditch. Also, why does she suddenly become the school slut, going out with about 10 boys every book?! Anyway, Ginny just annoys me and her acting in HBP is simply awful, that scene at the Burrow, with her and Harry in their dressing gowns and she offers to "tie his shoelace", I mean WTF!
Day Five - Favourite Male Character and Why?
I don't have many favourite male characters in Harry Potter, I mean Harry is so annoying and Ron is okay, but Hagrid is awesome! Apart from the fact he looks awesome and he's half giant, he is always trying to help the trio and is so loyal. Also, his dog is the coolest dog ever and he's just all round awesome xD In both the films and the books, Hagrid is written and portrayed so well, the actor who plays Hagrid is such a good one and plays his part fantastically, he is exactly what I imagine Hagrid to look like.
