PICTURE DUMP!!!  This outfit is my baby.

This is Nellie Hurst, an Exotic Art Dealer. She goes to places like Africa and India and collects artifacts to sell to higher class people. She's a bit of a conwoman sometimes when she can tell that people want the art to show off their wealth. On the other hand, if others really truly enjoy the art, Nellie is known to give it away for nothing. Because of her travels, she's made friends and contacts in small villages and often gets tattoos, which also enhances her status as "exotic". She was born into a very rich family and was expected to be the proper victorian lady. It was here that she developed a love of art. After going along with this for a number of years, Nellie met Richard, a man a few years older than her. He was an explorer who had traveled to countries Nellie had only read about. They became involved and Nellie ran away with him. However, he abandoned her soon after, leaving her stranded. Nellie learned how to look after herself very quickly after that. Nellie sometimes longs for her old quiet life of study and needle work, but never lets anyone else know that. She hasn't seen her parents in years, and assumes that she's been cut out of their will. She keeps herself busy running around to force herself not to think about her past too much. She got each of her tattoos in a small village from various corners of the globe, and each one has a specific meaning. The one on her chest is hieroglyphics for "Be bright", which reminds her to not dwell on the dark feelings she often has. The tattoo on her cheek is from Africa and marks her as a friend of the tribe. The Native American symbol for "friendship" is tattooed on her wrist, although I want to add the Skyband symbol, which means "the road to happiness".
