Anyway. The quicky update: School has begun and so far it isn't so bad. Here's my schedule:
Mondays:
8:30 - 11:20 - American Civ I
1:30 - 4:20 - Intro to Psych
7:00 - 9:40 - Jazz Band
Tuesdays and Thursdays:
8:30 - 9:50 - Music Appreciation
All in all, a nice easy schedule. Well, in some respects. This semester will be easier than previous ones. I have Kimmie in my American Civ class and she's already taken the Psych class so she'll be able to help me out if need be.
Also, I am almost officially on the payroll of the school. Keith has hired me to write/arrange the holiday show for this semester. He's trying to figure out how the pay would work. The actual budgeted money for the department is gone, so he's trying to see if he could get me paid by putting me on Work Study. That works like a regular job. You get paid $7.50 per hour, but Keith said he'd augment my written hours to ensure I am fairly paid. At the end of the semester, I should get a check for at least $1000.
Over the next few days, I plan on transferring my tour journal, such as it is (I only managed to keep it up to date until July 4th, and I didn't come home until August 8th), and posting it as a backdated entry. Stay tuned.
