"BUT my one arguement is...Hitler died, HE AINT COMING BACK! Jesus died...HE LIVES! Yup. Jesus comes back from the dead...Hitler cant do squat."
I will respect this statement and address your one "arguement". Hitler died, I will not deny that. He took his own life, in fact. He never said he would live again, he is a man of his word. Jesus also died and (assuming the Bible is factual) rose from the dead. It seems that Jesus is also a man of his word. Well congratulations, I never denied this in the first place. Your "arguement" is irrelevant to the pronouncement, but I'll argue with you if you want.
Jesus was not of this world, his miracles were not of this world, and his death was not of this world. He healed the sick, the lame, the possessed, and rose from the dead. Supernatural miracles. Hitler was of this world, his miracles were of this world, and his death was of this world. He rose from starving artist to supreme dictator, he led a nation to the edge of global domination, and died by his own hand. Mortal miracles.
The bottom line is, they are both men of their word. Their miracles were on opposite sides of the fence, but does that change anything? They both shattered the expectations of the common man, made their statement, made their enemies, and died.
I hope that adequately addressed your "arguement".
P.S. I'll throw in this last argument of yours, but I'm done writing.
"p.s. Nice research.....but comparisons and contrasts dont prove all" "I'm not trying to compare these men. I'm simply using a connection between them to shine light on a belief many of you hold on to."
