It'd been only about a week or so since the man in red had been hauled from his shop and placed in the prehistoric jungle of Jurassic Park. While seeing dinos alive and living didn't bother him much, he was more the type to face demons barreling straight out of Hell more than anything. And most of the time, they came to him. Clients, demons, whoever. He was never too far from work, it seemed.
So, there he was, relaxing in the shop, napping with a magazine over his head, feet on the desk, as usual. He wasn't thinking much, just taking things in as they came. It was a boring day, no clients, no trouble... or so it seemed. The next thing he knew, the devil hunter felt a presence infiltrate the area, one that seemed... demonic yet not. Dante raised his head a bit, cocking an eyebrow in interest at the aura that had invaded nearby. The phone rang in the next minute. Instinctively, he raised his foot a little, then brought it back down with some force, causing the receiver to jump into the air and land in his outstretched hand.
"Devil May Cry." There was a pause as Dante listened to the speaker, his eyes flashing a little and a grin forming on his face. Well, karma had an interesting way of following his ass back to the real world. "Dinosaur, huh? What a surprise. He's nearby, isn't he?" Another pause, his grin confirming it. "Relax, I've got this one taken care of."
Hanging up, the man in red reached for Rebellion, Ebony and Ivory, and... a thought crossed his mind and he grinned. Sure, let's add a little fun to this. He placed Lucifer's skull on his left shoulder, the attached ends retracted and waiting to be used. Waltzing out of the shop, the man in red headed off in the nearby direction that this threat was called in at- just a few blocks away from home.
