I originally decided to sign up when one of my sister-in-law's journal's required you be a member to post a reply. Then I thought, what the heck, we'll see if I have anything to say that I might want other people to see. :) Or they might want to read.
Well, let's see. I live in medium sized town with my husband, Larry, daughter, Cassie and our four legged children, Max, the Boxer and B.K. and A.J. the cats. I work for the USPS as a letter carrier in a smaller town about thirty miles down the Interstate. I have been off work for the last six months due to a knee injury I got on the job in January. If I never have to deal with Federal Workers' Compensation again in my life it will be too soon. I am going back to work on Monday and I am both excited and sad. I miss my customers and will be glad to see them again, but I will also miss being at home all the time. Although, I am really sick of watching daytime TV. :)
Like my sis-in-law, I enjoy living in Wild, Wonderful, West Virginia. I was born in this town and have lived a few places in my life, but always came back. I enjoy the slower pace that we have around here. And I like the changing of the seasons. I know a lot of people that go south for the winter, but I have always liked the snow. Now, if it would just snow on the grass and not the sidewalks and the streets it would be ideal.
I enjoy reading, mostly fantasy science fiction. I love to sew and crochet. I am trying to finish an afghan for my granddaughter before I go back to work next week.
I think that enough for a first try. Next time I'll try to write first thing in the morning and see how my brain is working then.
