Gah
Autumn's finally here, especially where I am. Here in 병천 (Byeongcheon), the weather is unusually strange so while it's cold elsewhere in Korea, it's FREEZING cold here. It annoys the hell out of me. Right now I'm wearing a short-sleeved jacket over my t-shirt and the air conditioner is off but it still feels cold. The sun outside isn't doing any good, either. Ugh. Winter, please, please, PLEASE don't come too soon. I still want to live, go to 서울 (Seoul) to see Super Junior, and at least be able to go outside without dying before getting there. Argh.
So anyway, I found out Super Junior's dorm address yesterday and I'm now determined to visit them. Not at their front door, of course, because their dorm is a high-rise apartment surely equipped with a tight security considering that people like the Super Junior members live there. I plan on simply staying outside, holding a banner of some sort, and waiting for them to pass by in their cars or something. I have to do this before winter comes around (though if I do this while it's snowing, Super Junior might take pity on me, LOL). I only have barely three and a half months here so I want to do as much as I can for Super Junior. I don't want to regret not having done anything during my stay here. That would be more painful than actually leaving Korea.
My friends and I spent 추석 (Chuseok) first at a friend's house where we took part in some simple ancestral rites. Then, we ate lots of Korean traditional food. Afterwards, we went to 서울 to go to a Design Festival. Since I'm taking up Fine Arts in the Philippines, I felt as though my major was calling me back when I saw all the creative displays. In addition, I thought about having my postgraduate studies here instead of Japan. I'm still torn between the two countries but I guess it will depend where my heart will lie in the future. If I'm still a die-hard Super Junior fan three years from now (I need one more year to graduate, then 2 years of working before having my Masters), then I'll definitely choose Korea.
Darn, I still have to study Korean. Our Korean language class is being taught in Korean, and our book is 100% Korean, too. Imagine our hardship during class hours. >____________> Even so, I really want to do my best in studying it because I don't want to go back to my country without having learned anything and it delights me so whenever I listen to Korean songs or shows and I understand a few lines or words. I don't expect to be very good at it soon but I want to give it my all anyway. ^^
