Catch up
been out of touch for a spell. so here's what I've been up to.
Last Friday: Prince concert!!!!
Fourth row at that. Damn, that concert was unbelieveable!!!
I cant properly express in this limited space what kind of
experience that was.
Sat: My little sister got married. I cooked for 200 and 75 attended, so there was plenty of food. =) The wedding started almost an hour late. Two of the bridesmaids got lost en route. One of the groom's men obviously thought ahead...
The wedding was outside on the lake shore, so the groom's man brought out fishing poles for the rest of us. There were five of us including the groom, all dressed in tuxedos fishing waiting for the damn thing to start. It was great.
Sun: Saw Hellboy with Robbie. All in all, it was actually okay. I wasn't expecting much at all, but it was comical in the right spots.
Mon: Played pool with Beth, Allen, Amanda, Chris, and Aaron (all on my team at work).
Tues: Wrote on the screenplay mostly, then had dinner with a dear friend. She has no idea what our outings do to uplift my soul. I miss her company.
Wed: was a sloth. Watched movies and wrote.
Thurs: Wrote then went to the club. Talked with jconstantine a bit, then some guy picked a fight with a girl I know. So the hit him in the face with a beer bottle... bottle broke, cut his throat, blood sprayed everywhere, jconstantine went into full EMT mode (thankfully for said guy), put pressure on it and got him out the door. Ambulance arrives, wisks bleeding throat guy away. Moral of the story... "guys, NO means NO. Expecially when Kat says it."
Well Vacation is now offically over.. back to the grind.
