Been a long day
Went to the Native American Showcase today with a couple of friends. They went for the arts & crafts, I went to attempt to network for the film (so Im a whore). I met with Steve Reevis. He was in Dances with Wolves, and starred in the Missing and Last of the Dogmen. He's an amazing guy, very down to earth, and amicable. So, I pitched him the log line for the script and he smiled. He took me off to the side and asked me to tell him more. So I gave him a synopsis. Long story short... he loved it. He wants to read the whole script as soon as possible, and said he will put me in touch with whom ever he can to make it happen. I cant believe this may finally be happening to me. Short films are one thing, and I would have been content with just that one getting filmed, but now a feature. The story is done but the script is only half complete. Guess I better get working.
Actually I've been working since I got back. Time to get some rest now. Daylight breaks in an hour or so. But it was a good day and I milked it for all it was worth.
