Too damn hot..
Oh my god.. this week has been hell already. After a very very rushed, stressed and overworked Monday, the roomie and I came home to a freak out by her mom, followed up by a few rounds of 'is it really that hot that the air conditioning isn't keeping up or is something wrong'. Turns out... something is wrong. So in, at 2am mind you, went the emergency phone call. This morning they tell us the earliest someone can be here - on an emergency basis - is sometime between 8am and 1pm TOMORROW!!! So after one uncomfortable as hell night, we are faced with the decision of trying to go to a hotel, which is very difficult for me physically or stay put with our kitties and make sure they don't filet. *sigh*
Did I mention it's like 102 with the heat index? yea, not good.
Also, on the way home I had to stop short to avoid going through a fast yellow light and heard a loud pop. Thought my tire blew. It got me home and seemed to drive mostly ok, but then when I went over a bumpy area it seemed to be quite bouncy for normal and made like a squeaky hinge type noise. So I have no idea if something went wrong or if I am hearing things or hit something in the road and am now just paranoid or what.
Oh and boss was cranky with me today to top this all off. It's been oh so much fun.
