I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, for those of you playing the home version....
It finally happened! I got my promotion!! Officially takes effect to my pay January 29th, but business cards are being ordered, I am in charge of developing the ad for my replacement. They gave me the title of Account Executive of National Operations! And... a 15% pay raise! That I was *not* expecting. Hoping for something, but not quite that much. It comes at a very good time actually.
It will be a bit more demanding than what I am used to, but I am excited about it. The nice thing to was when my boss pitched it to the President of the company she thought it was an EXCELLENT idea and all for it. After 2 and half years (half of which I was out on medical leave) to get this promotion really means a lot to me. Actually jut to be in a place that truly values me and shows it to me is incredible.
