I hate re-reading stuff like blogs and forum posts from years ago, I'll admit it, I was an asshole a lot (not all the time!) and I certainly attracted a lot of assholes... Birds of a feather, eh?
So I am (for the time being) back at Gaming World. Whahay. I might stay through the next Troubadors album, I'm really digging unplugged.
(Side note: I left GW the day I lost my virginity (May 10th last year) and I didn't even realize it until months later, ahaha)
July 24th... That means I have 5 weeks and 2 days until I start Brooks, shit, that deadline seemed a lot farther away two weeks ago. Perspective sucks.
I've got all my shit packed that I won't need in the meantime, I'm trying to sell this piece of crap G4 on Craigslist so I can pick up a G5 Imac or something, still need to find an SUV in place of the Porsche for equipment haulin', and then of course, I need a place to LIVE.
Student Housing?
I think not.
I've been reading up on RnR (The company that handles Brook's apartments) and it's nothing but horror stories. Suprise inspections ever week, funky slum-like apartments, trapping you into leases, and worst of all, you can't even have someone of the opposite sex overnight... Thats insane - for 900 bucks a month I don't get to sleep with women in my own bed? fuck that.
I think the Santa Barbara Craigslist is going to be my best friend when I go down there. Furniture, Housing, a New Computer, and perhaps a new set of wheels... and only a few clicks away from the "erotic" section of services too. 8)
...I was kidding about that last part.
