This week has been especially interesting and enjoyable. I saw ted leo and murder by death and tried out for the roller derby (and made it....jerks). worked alot. ran errands. wrote a paper for suzanne. signed up for my benefits which makes me feel oh so grown up...i mean, i have a retirement plan, and life insurance, a flexible spending account, pto and the normal old health insurance....tuition reimbursement and assistance for future classes, short and long term disability, accidental death and dismemburment...its all sort of ridiculous....but if i die my family will get a tasty check....especially if its in a heinous car wreck or something....i wanted to make rebel and louie my beneficiaries but thats not allowed so i just made my parents promise to spoil them and love them after i die in a firey inferno of doom and destruction.
next week seems dreadful with 40 hours of 'critical care of the adult patient.' how am i to sit still that long?
Im getting sick with a sore throat and runny nose and thats no good. ive no one to take care of me and no time to be sick. full time work, roller derby practice on tuesday, shows next weekend...plus i need to get tickets for dbt and lucero down at new daisy as sooon as i get paid. i need to buy pads somewhere, too (not the lady type, though).
i got to talk to my armani on the phone finally and that was lovely despite him having to cut it short to meet up with people of some sort. A lengthy conversation to suzanne via AIM was enjoyed and made me miss her much. My mother ditched my phone call to talk to her best friend on the house line, the hussie. Also, brians mom called to check in and the ol NSICUers of MCV have been emailin on the regular. nice to keep in touch, indeed.
todays the first day ive felt lonely and its most likely because i wasnt awakened by my customary 8 am phone call from mr lee as he is roanoke and he can never get service...also, i watched little women and felt rather like Jo but I dont want to marry some wrinkly faced german professor in the end. Ill remain the spinstery type instead, i suppose.
made blueberry muffins and they were delish, especially with the hot earl grey with cream and sugar...so very good, indeed.
im rambling now but thats my update for you richmonders, with all your 'friends' and your 'going out' and whatnot. bah! ; )
