Random Update
I don´t know if anybody reads my shit anymore since I don´t have time or energy (whichever!) to update my LJ regularly, but if anything, it will be a record for myself, or even after my death, hehe, for people to read what my life was about. ;)
About... well, nothing much really
Since Aslan played at Charlie´s Bar earlier this month nothing really much has happened. I just plod along working, sleeping, eating (or dieting, rather) and watching the odd pirated movie on my laptop. I haven´t been out much cause (a) I´m too tired too early in the evening already and (b) cause when I go out I *drink* and particularly right now that´s not a good idea.... tell you why in the next paragraph.
About Health
One of the main side effects of my "cancer pills" (that´s what I call the MTX which I am taking for my RA) are infections. I have never had an abscess in my life, but now I have developed one underneath a back tooth on the inside of my gums. What do you do to fight infections? You take antibiotics. The problem is that MTX and antibiotics are a highly toxic mixture (toxic for the liver in particular, hence I was saying I am so not drinking right now!) so I am off the MTX for a week now while I´m taking the antibiotics. Then back again to the dentist next week to further see what needs to be done.
I hate this shit. I hate the fact that I have to be on tablets simply to make me feel half way normal. Recreational drugs are much more fun, if I was into that sort of thing. All you healthy people out there, you really do NOT know what you HAVE. What you have is FREEDOM.
Oh, but I´ll shut up now cause thinking too much about it makes me get all down and gloomy. Farkin goth.
Spring Decorating
I took me 3 days to finish my small bedroom, taking lots of breaks and oh the agony in my arms and back at the end of each day, but it´s done now. I posted here a while ago saying that I bought this gorgeous satin bed spread in dark-wine-red and well, the rest of my bedroom was purple/black/lavender colours. And the red did soooo not look right, right? So I decided to decorate around the bed spread colour and turned my purple bedroom from this:

Yeah, I know. Spot the IKEA stuff, heheh! ;)
The Weather
It´s been sort of "non" weather the last few days. Just grey and gloomy with occasional bits of sun, and very windy. After a couple of days the other week of beautiful warmth (around 30 Degrees C), it just turned horrible now and the nights are cold again too. So much for living on a tropical island! It´s almost April and it´s about time it turned NICE again! :o
Oh well, nothing that exciting really. There you go. At least it´s an UPDATE! ;)
