Went back to the doctors at half five and after an hour' s wait I got another injection, this time an analgesic called
Tramadol, which apparently is similar to morphine in efficacy, but in my case it does not seem to do much. She also prescribed me
Lornoxicam, an anti inflammatory which she said is much stronger than Ibuprofen. she signed me off work until Monday. I hope that I will be back at work before that though. But we will have to see - maybe I will already feel better tomorrow, fingers crossed.
Next time I have a fibro flare I will probably laugh when I compare the pain I have now to my worst ever fibro day. I mean, my arms hurt pretty much ALL the time but this is totally unbelievable pain. Anyway, I shall shut up about stupid pain now.
I just took Janelle downstairs in her little kitty bag so Liz could help me brush her. I couldn't believe it! She only growled once and struggled and lightly bit me a couple of times! Whenever I brush her on my own she tends to go berserk. I jokingly said to Liz that from now on I would bring Janelle down to her everyday to be brushed, and Liz said that she would see me tomorrow LOL! She seriously means that though cause she is as much a cat person as I am. Janelle looks ultra fluffy now that she has been brushed properly, and her fur is incredibly soft now too. at least I had one thing to smile about today. :)
I really must eat something - I have only had a yogurt, a croissant and a small piece of baguette all day. Will make myself some pizza now...
