Ah, at last this horrible heatwave is over! It's totally overcast this morning and only about 25 degrees. Narce. The star_cats seem to be much more perky again today too with it being so much cooler....
Dreamt about Johnny Depp. No, not what *you* think - my subconscious is far too clean for that, damnit! Just some crappy dream about a sci-fi convention where he was at, but I never got to meet him in person although I tried and tried, but he was always being ushered away by people and totally out of reach. Just like real life then, hehe.
Like I already mentioned, Lugosi had his ultrasound the other day (and please, no more "shaved pussy" references!) , and I am glad to say that they found *nothing*. Meaning that he does not need another operation to remove a possible stone, cause there is no stone. RELIEF! However, the diagnosis now is "idiopathic cystitis". Idiopathic means that they don't know a cause for it. So we just need to treat him for it as and when he gets worse again, with anti-inflammatories and/or painkillers. He is also on Cystaid which helps to strengthen the bladder wall and prevent it from getting irritated so easily.
And if one more person tells me to have him put down (not in a joking way), I'm just gonna tell them to fuck off straight away. People with painful chronic & life long conditions (like myself with fibromyalgia) are not put down (although my ex would probably prefer otherwise, heh), so why should I have a cat with a chronic & life long condition put down? He will be suffering when he's ill, but in between he will have many long periods without pain and discomfort and a good life in general. So fuck "those" people who say that.
