Happy Birthday to Me...!
So I just logged into Facebook to find 38 notifications.
Granted, about 28 of them were from Karyn and Amanda warring it out on birthday posts for me...
...but I never expected to get that many comments! Ever! From anyone!
I feel a little bad that I didn't send out birthday comments before, because thinking about how good it feels, I know I should have. I'll start doing that (or at least trying--me and my space-head might inhibit it a little)!
Still. I'm nineteen years old, I suppose. If I were a dog, I'd be really fucking old.
If I were a cat, I wouldn't care.
It's my golden birthday, too, and I remember thinking about it when I was about 8 or 9 and remarking on how far away it was and how lucky Cass was that hers was when she was 1 year old so she didn't have to wait so long (even though that must have sucked because she couldn't remember it) and
well,
it's here.
9 year old me thinks I'm really old.
