In the previous post I mentioned that I had a new kitty. Well, when we took him to the vet we found he had been ravaged by fleas..decreasing his blood, and had two different types of parasites in his body. The poor, tiny thing was being eaten inside and out. They tried their best to save him by giving him medicines to kill the parasites and hooking him up to I.V.'s. They would have given him a blood transfusion, but even that could have killed him.
I got a call around 2:30 from my mom saying that the little guy had not made it. I'm not sure if he just passed on from the ordeal, or if they tried something to save him.
I'm trying not to get emotional from it, atleast he was found and helped. It could have been a lot worse. It just would have been great if he lived. I already miss carrying him around on my shoulder and hearing him purr. :0(
