Okay so this weekend was good. Friday I went out with Hilary and we went to some Spalding party that really blew so we left and got some food and then I went home and passed out. It was really really funny sitting in the middle of the road not being able to sit up. We seriously couldn't walk. It was greaaaat. Then Saturday was HFStival. I'll just copy from Dani which bands performed, VooDoo Blue, O.A.R., Yellowcard, Lostprophets, Papa Roach, Cypress Hill, Violent Femmes, New Found Glory, P.O.D., Jay-Z, The Offspring, The Cure, Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, The Living End, Lit, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Modest Mouse, Evenout, Underscore, Subculture, Ballyhoo, Aphile, Jah Works, Army of Me, Washington Social Club, Stars Hide Fire, Jimmie's Chicken Shack. I really didn't remember much of the bands but I wish I had. I wish I didn't smoke because I think I would have been a lot more energetic if I had stayed sober. Stupid me. Oh well. I think out of all the bands I actually payed attention to, Jay-Z was honestly the best. He was really energetic and I loved singing along. Everyone in the crowd was like brushing their shoulders off to that one song, and I kept singing to Jessie the rest of them. We left like an hour early because everyone was too tired to do anything but sleep.
I didn't bring my camera, but we saw Dani on the metro and she took this picture of me and Jessie not looking.
So yeah, my life has been pretty okay lately. I saw pics from prom, and I'm so jealous. I want to get dressed up and go dancing. Someone needs to have a barmitzvah or something. I think I get to wear my new dress actually to my stepbrother's graduation. I'm semi-excited because I get to see my stepsister, Christina who I haven't seen in like a year. I'm also semi-excited about school ending. Excited in the fact that I have no more grades. Not excited in the fact that it will be summer. I think I'm the only kid on the block who doesn't enjoy summer. I don't know why. Some kids just aren't meant for summer. I have nothing to look forward to. Thank god I don't have summer school this year. I am so happy about that. I really am. I hate the hott weather. I hate when I go to the beach and I get sand in my crotch. I hate being the only kid in pants when I'm sweating like no other. I hate staying home. I hate having my dad work at home everyday so I'm forced to communicate with him. I hate not knowing anyone who has/belonging to/owning A POOL. I really hate how I can't see anyone I love because everyone is in Ocean City and I'm the only kid who never goes there. The best part of my summer (staying in Rhode Island) is now ruined because my stupid aunt took it upon herself to get us all a crappy beach house. But I still have my rhode trip, but with my luck it won't work out. With my luck, nothing I put on my summer wishlist will work out at all. I might as well go into hibernation now. I think this summer will suck even more than last year (which sucked a lot) because last year I hung out with a lot of really fun people and it seems like all we did was get messed up and not care about anything. But I don't even talk to those people anymore, and I don't really want to get messed up that much. Whateva. We'll see how this all works out. I'll keep you updated all summer long. Thanks to everyone who really reads this.
Jess and me. Camera phones rock once again.
Oh yeah, I got my monroe pierced too. I like it a lot.
