Also, "forging bonds" has two meanings when it comes to Neal. One is decidedly criminal and the other makes me go AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW when it involves Peter.
I LOVE NEW MATERIAL, SO:
I love this picture! I love it so much.
I was looking at this picture and the "Forging Bonds" title and then I REALISED it could mean:
1. Neal counterfeiting bonds (as in, the financial instrument); and
2. Neal forging bonds - with special people in his life. AWWWW.
3. Neal faking close relationships with people!
I will focus on the AWWWW. LOOKIT THAT! I call it Dinner with Peter. ♥
I just really like looking at the two of them together.

You know, I've always heard the Peter-and-Neal dialogue when they talk about the days Peter was chasing Neal with a distinctly "hee hee hee" mentality. No, seriously? With lines like these:
Peter: [speaking to the prison warden at the supermax]: "I know I spent three years of my life chasing him, and you let him walk out the front door."
Neal, to Peter: "When you were chasing me, you knew my shoe size, what time I woke up in the morning."
Peter, to Neal: "How did you stay ahead of me when I was after you? And don't say good looks and charm."
My version of half_sleeping's See Neal con. Con, Neal, con has always been "See Neal run. Run, Neal, run. See Peter chase. Chase, Peter, chase."
Yeah, there's a reason this stuff is behind a cut.
I think that may be Neal meeting Kate for the first time. I also thought that was a younger!Elizabeth and did a major double-take.
I love this girl! If Neal had to end up with one girl that's been currently introduced in the series, I would pick her.
She really looks a lot like Gabrielle Anwar. O.O I keep thinking, "Alex" when watching Burn Notice.

I am loving the Daily Dose of White Collar, in which White Collar screenshots are paired with quotes from other TV/film/media. One of my favourites is the one that matches Neal to a Zaphod Beeblebrox quote, and Peter harshing Neal's buzz - seriously, Peter's relationship with Neal can be summarised as follows:
Neal: YES.
Peter: NO.
Anyway. My favourite, which Neal does not appear in, is this one (Jones and Peter). (Okay, fine! It can be construed to be All About Neal, and it's why I love it, really.) A realllly close second is this one, matching Peter to a Dr. Who quote.

1. The first time Peter arrests Neal! To borrow a quote from tzikeh: Arrested Neal is Arrested. :D
2. That intense look in Peter's eyes when he asks Neal, "How did you stay ahead of me when I was after you? And don't say good looks and charm."
3. Con vs sting: Oh, Peter, don't glare at Neal like that. It's only semantics.
4. Neal to Peter: "Come on, admit it, you enjoyed yourself."
Oh, Peter. That is exactly the kind of line that would fit beautifully into any Peter/Neal story. *grin*
In fact, it reminds me of this scene in canon: it's in The Portrait, when Peter and Neal are talking the day after their escapade with the Criminal of the Week's French girlfriend (and her friend). Peter says he'll tell El the truth about what happened that night.
Because of Exquisite, I've never been able to watch that scene again without automatically slotting it into Exquisite canon, because that story fit that canon piece in so beautifully.
