So I was talking to
amarukei and
aingeal_isilme about young!Veser and Lee and foreshadowing, and I was going to link them my favourite Lee artwork of all time and realised that I have NEVER made it properly accessible (to myself, which is the greatest crime ever, because every time I want it I have to go hunting for it), despite linking it to at least two different people on two separate occasions, so.
I do not have the faintest idea as to who drew this, but I would love to know.
If you do I would love to know, too.
When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on.
Also I needed a new and less depressing Lee tag, so have at it. One day if I can bring myself to I should post this terrible, terrible conversation I once had with
half_sleeping about why I'm Mr. Hatch (this is actually not so much about actual relationship dynamics but rather Who Gets to Be The Acknowledged Jerkass).
Urgh, speaking of people named Lee. Is anyone else watching American Idol and going "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!" I must admit it is good for something, though, because it turned up a duet performed by a blue-eyed guy named Lee (who looks blank A LOT) and Somebody's Mom, and I think that if Lee had been, you know, actually aware of Mrs. Hatch's circumstances and still been a wide-eyed romantic, this would have been his song for her:
1.
Falling Slowly (Crystal Bowersox & Lee Dewyze)
2.
Original Version - Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova (Once OST)3.
Kris Allen Studio Version I don't know you
But I want you
All the more for that
Words fall through me
And always fool me
And I can't react
And games that never amount
To more than they're meant
Will play themselves out
Take this sinking boat and point it home
We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice
You'll make it now
Falling slowly, eyes that know me
And I can't go back
Moods that take me and erase me
And I'm painted black
You have suffered enough
And warred with yourself
It's time that you won
Take this sinking boat and point it home
We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you had a choice
You've made it now
Falling slowly sing your melody
I'll sing along
