So there's this meme going around that tells you to pick 20 series from Better Than It Sounds and have people guess which series they are. But SOMETIMES, these descriptions are not so much Better Than It Sounds, but Rather, EXACTLY What It Says On The Tin. TRY THIS ONE:
A boy with a misleading name tries to solve peoples' problems using a Sharpie and a hammer. Cast includes a green amnesiac, a neurotic vampire, a masochistic med-school dropout, a pervy sharkboy, and a walking grandfather clock.
I WONDER WHAT IT COULD BE.
Also, I drew someone a cat (warning, that post is somewhat image-heavy as it has lots of Versailles pictures on it). This is very important because the last thing I drew when I was killing time was a series of caricatures of the various characters from the Series Up There, on someone else's iPhone. IT WAS LIKE FINGERPAINTING ART. I am a terrible person and very easily amused, and so I laughed very hard at the fact that the easiest characters to caricature were that neurotic vampire and also that pervy sharkboy.
Also I am one of those people for whom, in fandom, the fastest way to change my mind about characters is to first change my heart, so:

1. So the Walking Grandfather Clock got his own tag for this, and he gets another for that hilarious description up there. Here's another artwork by the abovelinked artist: and why, yes, I think silhouettes and harsh shadows do go well with him. I love the artworks that bring out another side of him, and these definitely count.
2. I really like this artwork for that neurotic vampire - fascinating take on how his... outlook on people, shall we say... has... changed.
