OH SO YOU THOUGHT I WAS DONE?
This is basically a post about How Reborn is Finally Spoiling Us All Rotten AT LONG LAST. There is so much new material happening over the past few weeks that I felt compelled to make a master post of it all, simply because it's all so amazing, and also because I wanted it all in one place:
1. The gorgeous Reborn artbook Colore has been released: if you're a member of the KHR community you might want to check this out.
- My favourite image is the (community-locked) Hibari, Xanxus and Tsuna artwork. Although untrue, it looks like Xanxus's hand is on Tsuna's shoulder. AHAHAHA. ♥
- My new Reborn icons are from this artwork, and are made by bel of varia, here (yes, of course I linked it like that on purpose).
- And check out this translation of information on Hibari's drop-dead gorgeous house.
2. New OP/ED for the KHR anime (community-locked) - YOU ARE KIDDING ME WHAT DO YOU MEAN OP 8 ED 15, has it really been that long?! I laugh hysterically at the OP, really, because WHY BOTHER TO WATCH THE DAMNED ANIME when the WHOLE BUSINESS IS SPOILED SO THOROUGHLY FOR YOU IN THE OP?

3. The Reborn Special OVA (community-locked, and only in Chinese subs for the time being). Of course I watched it for one reason and one reason only. They had a Gokudera + Tsuna screencap as a preview, THAT WAS IT.

omg if you are missing Japan, do not, I repeat, DO NOT, watch the Reborn Special OVA.
It's a Vongola Road Trip and they visit Nagoya, Kyoto, Sapporo, Fukuoka, and in which the signature landmarks of the various places have been distinctly Vongolafied. Nagoya Castle's rooftop dolphins were changed to LEON, for example.
HAHAHA Hibari on the roof of the schoolbus, and because this show is For Kids, we MUST have a warning saying, "GOOD KIDS DON'T DO THIS."

4. Reborn Chapter 284. Hello, spurious new transfer students!
1. It took me two years to get over my antipathy for Yamamoto, but I am glad I did, because I can enjoy panels like these - I love his whole :D! HI THERE attitude to that SCARY HULKING NEWCOMER. What position do you want to play in? - HAVE YOU NO SURIVIVAL INSTINCTS, MAYBE HE'D CRUSH YOU ALIVE? I think I remember a Yamamoto!fanfic in which his attitude to people was revealed to be, "A stranger is a friend you haven't met yet", and it's quite true for this update!
2. I love the whole hotblooded megane character with a COMBATIVE ATTITUDE business, Koyo, BRING IT ON! "I'M AN IDIOT THAT ACCEPTS THE FACT THAT I'M AN IDIOT!"
3. In comparison, Julie hasn't gotten much of an introduction, but clearly that's because we're saving space for:
4. The Suzuki Adelheid vs Hibari Kyouya Showdown. ... Boy does that girl make me wish I knew how to wolf-whistle. I approve of ALL of this impending violence! DO NOT LET ME DOWN, NEXT UPDATE!
5. And Enma and Tsuna are so ridiculously cute together, awww. May they not end up having to deathmatch each other by the end of the next chapter, but I will not hold out too much hope.
