how can I have a BACKLOG of Posts to Make About Hanna Is Not A Boy's Name?
I am a terrible person, so I INSIST you all must try the:
Which Hanna Is Not A Boy's Name Character Should You Marry quiz.
Possible results are Hanna, Zombie, Worth, Conrad, Ples and Veser.
(Am already quite impressed Veser and Ples made it in.)
ETA: half_sleeping says Ples should not be in, for reasons of orientation.
To that I say DO NOT BE SILLY are you saying MEN cannot do this quiz.
...of course I had to try it out, what do you take me for.
The quiz thinks I should marry Hanna; with Zombie next in line (always tying with either Hanna as my #1), OR, with Veser next in line.
... I ABSOLUTELY cannot marry Veser, I do so ever love the guy but I assure you we will kill each other.
The quiz is fairly easy to rig (it's quite obvious which traits pertain to which characters), but where's the fun in that?
I picked a lot of middle-ground answers, but I don't like neurotic people (sorry Conrad) and I think anyone who has to put up with me for a long period of time either needs to be very chill or have an energy level like mine, also optimism is a gigantic A+ for me so. I think the options that sealed my result were my saying loyalty is a key trait, and picking the 'DEFINITELY' option for 'You love a guy who never lets life get him down.' That's how I got Hanna, I guess.
Second time I did it (I always test results if the quiz is fun enough) I got a tie-breaker question that obviously wanted me to choose between Hanna and Zombie (sadly it was a choice between 'You love a guy who never lets life get him down.' and 'You like the strong and silent type' so, well, you know how that goes.) Basically Hanna always tops my list, with Veser following after, and Zombie always ties with either the first or second choice.
... Conrad is always right at the bottom. HA HA HA. WHERE HE BELONGS. Poor Conrad, for me you never top ever, that is true.

Full cast in chalk here: I link it for the colours and the medium (coloured chalk on cupboard, anyone?), and also because I love how it really looks like someone had fun making them.

Not so much a rec but a for-your-information link: Hanna! now has its own archive on Fanfiction.Net (been meaning to link this one for a while). Seems to be dominated by .../Hanna and then by The Worth and Conrad Show, but my favourite there is gen fic, Conrad's Prologue, about the events in a certain Mr. Conrad Achenleck's life that led him to the first Chapter of the work we know as Hanna Is Not A Boy's Name. It's about how Adelaide enters his life (I loved the part where he trapped her under a popcorn bowl).
futuresoon's Veser hanging out with Hanna & Friends fic; and
half_sleeping's Hanna!cast hanging out at the bar fic; and
for sheer unadulterated FUN, if you know the Dresden Files series (and if you don't, I could help you get aquainted and point you in the right direction :D), read half_sleeping's Dresden/Hanna Is Not A Boy's Name crossover. What I love best is how the characters fit beautifully across fandoms into each other's worlds in ways that make actual sense. YOU'LL SEE. ♥
