Yes, I have insomnia again. It's 3:18am and I'm online, but tomorrow's my fortnightly day off so I don't care. Woo.

Found out on Thursday that Ofsted are coming to inspect us on Tuesday. Anxiety is quietly building in the pit of my stomach at the thought, as it's rather important we do well - the school got a notice to improve last summer, whatever that means, so this is the follow up. Although I honestly don't see anything wrong with the school, it's still scaring me.

Have just put quite an odd bunch of CDs onto my ipod that I thought I'd share with you: Romeo and Juliet soundtrack, All Saints' first album, The Dead 60s, Hot Hot Heat, Girls Aloud greatest hits and, erm, Classic War Themes. Had to settle for that when I couldn't find my movie themes one - an ace album Juliaaaaa and I found a few years ago for 99p with music from Star Wars, ET, Indiana Jones and Superman. Bargainous.

My rant of the week has to be about PEOPLE WHO SMOKE UNDER BUS SHELTERS. I've been getting the bus to work on a morning recently and there's always at least one person doing it. It really grates my cheese. It's just so selfish! It means I can't stand under there without stinking and breathing in yukky fumes so instead I am forced to stand in the blustery weather, freezing and with my hair going everywhere so I look like I haven't bothered to brush it when I get to work. Grr. There should be laws against it.

Am pretty tired at the moment, due to long working hours and little social activities. For the last three weekends running I haven't left the house for anything other than the Spar. Dear God. Tomorrow I'm going to see The Pursuit of Happyness with my Mum, so thank goodness. (Will Smith, yay!) I definitely need to get out more, so I'm dragging someone to the cinema on Wednesday, going to Jardy's on Friday and seeing Daniel sometime over the course of the weekend. Does that make up for three weeks of hermit-ness? Need to go to the gym too, as have lost no weight and am averaging two sessions a week - considerably less than the five I'd hoped for.

Apart from working too many hours and not visiting the gym often enough, and my room still being a mess, things are going pretty well. The other day during lunch time duty, when there were three adults including me out in the playground and the kids were told to run to the adult whose team they wanted to be on, fifteen kids ran to me - roughly a third - which felt pretty great. I got some of the best ones too, haha. A couple have made things at home to give to me too, so I'm starting to feel like I'm making a proper impression with them now. I'm really loving my job, have Poland to look forward to (less than three weeks to go!), telly's great at the moment and Take That have just made The Best Ever Video which I can't stop watching. Wow. It's so cool. Uber cheesy and camp, lots of Mark (hardly any Gary), tongue in cheek, Scissor Sisters-esque. If Shine doesn't go to Number One I don't know what I'll do.

Perhaps I should go to bed now.
