Most embarrassing moment so far during my time as a teaching assistant: singing and dancing a special routine to Reach by S Club 7 with all the year three and four children.

They do this every week before VCOP (vocabulary, connectives, openers and punctuation, dont you know). It was my first time today and what is perhaps slightly more embarrassing than having to do it is the fact that I knew all the words already, haha. I don't know all of the actions yet but one of the boys has promised to teach me, bless.

Somehow during my thirty second walk from the car to the staff room I managed to totally break one of my shoes so that half of the sole was hanging off. I had to ask the teacher if she had anything to fix it with, and in the end I had to cut it off...which means I am without a decent pair of shoes for tomorrow. When I really needed them, as it's bike duty tomorrow. Damn and blast.

It was a member of staff's 40th birthday today - you should have seen what the others did to her. Her office was FILLED with streamers and banners, confetti and balloons, and they had put lots of her stuff in jelly, like her stapler and doorstop. (Apparently that's from The Office, but I've never watched it so I didn't get it.) After she'd arrived someone must've gone out and done stuff to her car; its windows were covered in shaving cream and there was a traffic cone on the roof! Hilarious.

It seems like it's going to be a really fun place to work!

In other news, there is a strong possibility that I'm going to be on telly on Saturday. I'm going to see Robbie Williams with my sister (my parents are going too, but we're going separately because Claire and I want to try and get a spot at the front). It's going to be shown on Sky One all night, presumably live, so if we do manage to get to the front we might be on! I can't wait.

I don't think there's much else to say. I made the bus today - a nice change. I have a shift at the Spar to do this evening so I'll actually have done a full day's worth of work today - eight and a half hours!
