I remember . . .

I remember almost everything.   I was not created.  I was not coerced.  I agreed to carry the mantle of the Grim Angel of my own choice.  I agreed to relinquish my emotions of my own will.

It is better this way.  Free will, after all, is the gift the gods have bestowed upon us.

I do not regret my choice

That is correct. I have heard it happened to many -- continues to happen to many on this island.
