Thanksgiving the Third

. . . My trial darker than darkest night has come to an end.  I give thanks, I suppose, for what little mercy is shown to me.

. . . To think it would have been worse with him than with the demon . . .

Perhaps not the sort of trial that would intrigue you.

What kind of a trial was it?

. . . A traumatic one.

I... I see. I won't bring it up, then.

On a brighter note, I see you are planning a festival. What do you have in mind?

Hmm, I don't know yet. Are there any interesting days coming up?

Hmm. I do not know.

Many of the other holidays appear to have been recognized by those living in a world called 'Earth'. You may wish to ask them.

Okay! I'll let you know as soon as I finish planning!

If you so wish. May it be more successful than my own joke of a holiday.

Well, I liked yours, at least!

I am glad. Though it was not intended to be serious.

But... that doesn't matter as long as people have fun, does it?

I agree. We could certainly use some cheer now.

Do you know what happened?

((Just a warning so you don't wait up; I'm off for the night.))

You do not?

. . .

A man was murdered -- Dexter Grif. He was summarily resurrected by the healers of the church, but his killer remains on the loose. I have heard, however, that there is a suspect.

There is another mystery, that concerning a man named Godot. He disappeared from the island under mysterious circumstances, though I am inclined to believe there was nothing particularly noteworthy about his 'case'.
