Oh, happy days...!!!

Oct 11, 2011 16:03

I like how most of my days off are spent at home doing homework and cleaning. I think that it's meant to be that way, but maybe that's a good thing. Sometimes I just don't like to be bothered by friends. (Shockingly.) Always too tired it seems...

This month has definitely started out interesting. My last day at the bank was on Friday and I will admit, I DID cry when I was leaving. The people at the bank aren't bad people, but I really felt that I didn't get that much support when I was there. They wanted me to stay, but I think the majority of it was to benefit them because they really needed tellers. You'd be surprise by the amount of bullshit complaints we get from customers due to us being low on staff. It's not the banks fault. Don't blame them. People just don't want to apply for the job. And trust me, it's NOT a bad job, but it's just not me_at_all. I'm really glad I have one job again because it'll give me more time to concentrate on school and whatnot.

Speaking of jobs, I got promoted at the other one which made me very happy. (Who doesn't love promotions though?) I'm mainly happy because this is the first time I'm actually growing within a company and its benefits will allow me to take a vacation next year. (Definitely going to see my family in California. I MISS THEM SO MUCH!) I start my training next week, so looks like I need to catch up on my sleep as it's going to be early in morning!

We also opened our new store in Waikiki which is pretty exciting. 50% of our staff/friends/family transferred over which makes me a little sad because I will miss them. Not only that, they are now considered our competition(despite we all work for the same company). Model Alessandra Ambrosio will be there tonight. I personally, don't care for her. Both her and Adriana Lima are Angels I don't particularly like just from viewing their interviews. IF they brought over Chanel Iman or Candice Swanepoel(or even Miranda Kerr aka BABYFACE)...I'd consider going to the event to meet them. They seem pretty chill and nice.

Well, more news later...I hoping for more happier news than bad news from now on. Again, I hope.

work, life
