The semester looks like it might not be as bad as I expected it to be. Information Theory is really hard; I have the know-how, but it's going to take me a ton of time and energy, and not without substantial office-hours trips. On the other hand, Artificial Intelligence is not going to be nearly as hard as theory, graphics, or algorithms was *phew!* I was expecting otherwise, but apparently it's only 4-6 hours per week of work. Ancient Philosophy has so far been pretty easy, and Political Theory looks to be a substantial but not masochistic 100 pages of reading per week.
Having completely overworked myself last semester, I could use a change. I'm looking forward to having time to sleep, time to go to the gym, time to have a social life and time to play music. Here's hoping.
