(no subject)
Wow, I had completely forgotten about livejournal. My last entry was nearly a year ago.Its funny how much you grow up in such a short space of time. One minute you feel happy and optimistic about the future, and before long you start that descent into disilluionment and fear. Life is very rapidly rushimg towards you and the safe sphere that the twilight of teenage years affords you is about to disappear without trace.
I have finally quit the 'ghetto' (beloved Albany Park) I went back there last week for a house party given by some crazy second years, and felt quite sad I wasn't there any more. Stepping over the paralytic bodies lying amidst a sea of toilet paper, I realised there is no where quite like it.
Over the summer, I gave up malt loaf. Which I felt was a step in the right direction. Now however, we have shortbread petticoat tails. New obsession looms. Right I am off to learn some Russian.
