Freeeeeddooommm!!!
Am free of exams yay!! Woke up at 9.20 this morning for my 9.30 exam (Thanks for waking me up Kizzy!)..so ended up in taxi and in exam within ten minutes of waking up. No caffeine, no shower, no makeup..but its done!! Wooo!
Now I have to think about packing up my room..agghh!! The amount of crap that I have accumulated is ridiculous!!
Off out tonight for a Gatty goodbye meal, which should be drunken and fun. I can't believe how fast this year has gone, its absurd! I am looking forward to the summer though, and my mum cooking for me. I also intend to read all those books that I always think I should read but never get round to!
This is probably the last opportunity I have to write anything before I leave, so I just want to say thankyou to evrybody who has made this year as special as it has been. This sort of thing should probably be left to graduation in another three years, but this year has been so incredible for me. I have grown up and changed so much, and it is because of this place and the people that I am privileged to call my friends.
So.....Anna, you are fantastic, thank you for understanding. Jen, I am sorry I didn't get to know you for the whole year, but I will be visiting!! Kizzy for laughs and tea, Helen,I can open up to you, you are a fantastic listener and a beautiful person. The debaters ( Rachel, Alex, Laura, Phoebe, John, Lindsay, Miranda, Dave, Ewan, Kylie Jason), for your hospitality and making me laugh so many times so hard I thought my face would crack.
To the Gattyites who don't read this, because they would call it self-indulgent crap, and also to Bean and Emily, Ben, Duncan, and last but not least assorted sinners. I hope I get to know you even better next year!!
I have learnt more about friendship and what in means in the last few weeks, than I have in nineteen years. Its not one-sided and it isn't selfish. Freinds are the family you make. I think that is so true.
