Everyone participating in the race found themselves waking up in a car with their teammate. On the dashboard was a map of England and a sealed envelope. Over the radio came the familiar voice of one Oliver St. Oldcastle ( Read more... )

Nicki awoke sprawled on a small leather seat, his first thought was that he was in a very nice sit-in coffin, like those old people bathtubs. But, no, it was just alittle too big, and he smelt other blood. The first thing he did was smack into the door at very fast speeds, figuring out there was no escape, then the voice came from the radio, it was that nice man from his journal

“Oh hello!! Can it be Lestat that dies?” he asked at the radio, assuming he must now be inside a communicator, somehow, this made sense, and calmed him down “I adore him, can I be there?” his voice perked pleasantly as he leaned at the radio

Eric enjoyed his car. He enjoyed it very much, and it was one of the few material possessions that he even remotely cared about. He did not, however, like sleeping in it. Nor did he like it when other people threw their bodies against its interior.

"Don't do that, please," he said, glancing over at Nicki. It appeared they were trapped in another of the house's games.

He opened the envelope on command, reading the words contained within. He wasn't particularly in any hurry just yet, as there wasn't anyone that Eric particularly 'loved' per say, though he wondered how they would have obtained such people.

"We're going to Stonehedge," he said finally, dropping the note. Any supe would have been able to come to that conclusion, and he glanced at Nicki as he turned the key in the ignition. "You've heard of it, right?

“Stone what?” he made a face, he’d heard of it, just not by that name, he was going to say something else but then the car started. He sort of acted like a cat that had just been woken up by a fog horn, he hit his head off the roof off the car, and realized he couldn’t go anywhere else. He started spewing out babbling, panicking rants in French, pawing at the door handle. This was is, this was how he was going to die. In a giant vibrating communicator

"Stonehenge," he repeated, his foot pressing down on the accelerator. The car sped forward, quickly gaining speed. There didn't seem to be any other cars on the road, which would make this drive less painful, at least.

"It's an ancient burial ground, marked by numerous stones," he continued, his eyes unblinkingly focused on the road.

After the initial spaz out when the car started freaking MOVING, he managed to calm down enough to listen to what was going on. He blinked over “Eric, where did you get here?” he was holding the sides of the seat very tight, and looking between the other vampire and everything moving past the windows

"Ah, I forgot you haven't had the pleasure of being a part of one of the house's games yet," he said, bitterness seeping into his voice. "Oliver and his magical house likes to torment us with games and trickery. In this case, we have no choice to play along and do as he says. Last time, Rose and I walked through a door into Zombie Land." His tone is intensely laced with sarcasm and hatred.

"No doubt, the doors are locked," he said, motioning to the car's useless exits. "However, at least this is my car from home, and I know how to drive it. It is fast, so with some luck, perhaps we can win this little test."
