So, yeah, some theatre campers are drumming outside my office. It actually sounds really good. Much better, in fact, than the campers who were singing in the black box earlier today!
Got caught in the 10-minute storm that hit Brenau today, so now my hair is a big ball of frizz. I shoved it into a ponytail, though, so hopefully that'll help. I also called my mom to give her advanced warning of the Hair Situation, as she prefers my hair to be clean, frizz-free, and not in a ponytail. Well, it's clean...
I'm going home today and coming back to Brenau on Sunday. I'm gonna work on my resume on Sunday, then have it proofed by the nice people in Career Services, then turn it in to Bill Groves. I'm applying for the two office manager positions and a position as a Fieldwork Coordinator for the Occupational Therapy department. The OT position sounds really interesting, and it's only 30 hours a week. Plus, the office manager was super-nice to me when I came to ask a question about the job, so that's encouraging. I really want to set up interviews before I leave the country. God, it would be so nice to have a job already lined up before I come back. I figure that I can start work on the ninth of August, then I can spend the rest of the month finding a place to live and moving in to said location. Hopefully the apartment complex up the street from the Tri Delta house will have a vacancy...
I'll hopefully be going shopping this weekend for clothes to wear in Spain. That should take care of THIS week's paycheck!
