I see. Aside from the date, did you come across anything else of importance?

Nesreca as he know it was not Nesreca in 1897. It went by a different name, it seems.

Which only serves to raise further questions. Did you happen to learn its previous name? I take it there was no explanation for the change.

That we're aware of, anyway. I can venture a guess for the name change, though.

But no, my Russian isn't that good to make out what the city used to be called.

I would like to hear your reasoning. An educated guess is better than nothing at all. Furthermore, do you believe the city was abandoned before or after?

Nesreca fell to complete genocide. There was no discrimination and the reasons are unknown as of right now. Everyone in Credinta is afraid of this city, that much is obvious. It could be that they tried to help out, here, but were too killed. Who knows.

I can tell you right now the fence around Credinta was not there when I arrived here last January.

Indeed, we may never learn the details now. As for the fence... I do wonder why it is so new. Could it be they are aware of Libitina's questionable activities each month?

I don't know, but they have showed that they wouldn't hesitate to arrest any of us, although that was months ago.

After hearing that, I assume they also feel no remorse over utilizing a death penalty. However, this adds far more questions than it solves... Might I see those newspapers when you are finished?

That's usually the case in these kinds of situations.

Feel free. I intend to leave them here at the library anyway.
