Last-Minute Zombie

Oct 03, 2008 11:59

Yesterday, during my Lingustics class, I saw the Mark Davis, the stage Manager for Wolfman Mac had called. I call him back, and he says Mac wants me to be a zombie at TONIGHT'S SHOOT for Night of the Livng Dead. I tell him sure, but I've got no costume to speak of (I'm at school after all). He says no problem. I call Mom, ask her for anything ripped up in my closet, or anything I can rip, and my old purse that has makeup in it.

Flash to the end of the day. I get in the van and Mom has a massive laundry basket of: WHITE STUFF. Confused, I ask her, WTF?
Mom: It's zombie stuff.
Me: Why is it all white?
Mom: Because zombies are all white and bound up on gauze.
Me: -_-; Mom, that's MUMMIES.

I pick out a white tank top (It has pink writing 'Daddy's Girl Princess') to rip up. We get to Marks, and go to the theater. On the way, I get my $1 tube of lipstick and lipgloss and wreack the shirt. It looks like blood, so all is well. I put my hair in crazy, uneven pigtails to dress it up.  We go in, and I get an AWSOME makeup job. :D Blood, brains, the whole mcGilla.

I got a lot of compliments on my acting/crazy ass look. I love last-minute stuff-it forces you to be creative.

ALSO: Anyone in MI, watch WMM this saturday. Lego and I are in it!!

school, theater
