Now he thinks he's a piece of bread...

Success!! The talent show went fabulously. Swim practice was massages and I got pissed off as soon as I stepped foot onto the pool deck. Whatever. Then I left after massages and two hundred yards of swimming and me and Chris went to the pitt to talk to Connor. Mark Clark and Sam Shiverick didn't know that we were going to be rehearsing so they were there too, but they let us go first. Oh right...after Mark unplugged everything. Whatever. We got it all figured out. So we ran the song through once (for our first time) and then we were like yeah it'll be fine. So we all split and I came home and got ready and then ran to the dining hall, stayed there for five minutes to get a bite to eat and then ran back down to the pitt. We hung out there and got the schedule, surprised to see that "Volume 11" (as Jordan had named us) was first. So we got up there, did our thing first and rocked the house. It actually went really really well. No one could hear me very well and I was just standing there most of the time because the song went on forever, but they did a fab job. It was fun. Lots and lots of fun. So being first, we got to watch the rest of the talent show. After us was JC with his weird sticky thingys and Winnie playing the cowbell with "Hey Ya" in the background. Then there was 4ever which was Will Katz, Bobby, Gaetano, and Nicolas Fernandez. It was hilarious and I was emabarassed to say that I actually knew the words to "The Hardest Part of Breaking Up (Is Getting Back Your Stuff)" and they were really funny. They had the chorus all coreographed and everything. Then Gus, Max, Nicolas, Chris, Winnie, and Charlie went onstage and did this weird devil worshipping type thing that was actually really funny. Then it was Angel's movie which was literally the most random thing I have ever seen. You have no idea how badly I want a copy of that. It was like amazing. White rabbits, Gus as the Charli's conscience, walking through walls, JC wanting to be Mexican, popping up random places...god, it was hilarious. Then we had...hum...I don't remember. Oh right...there was Freddy and Eric who did "Special Fred". Eric played guitar and Freddy sang and they sounded fabulous. Not only did the sound great, but Freddy is one of the funniest kids ever (also the MC). And the lyrics were hilarious. Oh and the birthday boy (Josh) played the cello which was fab and a half. Then there was Chase, Ben Lemon, Zach Feiden, and Hugh Robbins. They danced and then Chase and Ben had a dance off. It was hilarious. And then they started removing shirts which was even more fun. But anyway...then we had the cooking show, which ended in a food fight and Chase and Scott threw frosting into my hair. It was really fun. And after our curtain call while the crowd was leaving, the entire cast of the show got up on stage and danced to Mark and Tim while they jammed. Like the end of one of those kareokee or All That type shows you know? It was really fun. Then I went up to Hillside to get my midterms and to party in honor of Josh's birthday...and the cake was key. Midterms were as follows...
Spanish: A
History: B+
Algebra: B+
English: A
Science: Unknown
F-Block: Chorus: Pass --- Acting: Unknown
G-Block: Unknown
Yayay. And Mr. Glew says that I am well on my way to a commendation. Yayay again. Hum-de-dum. Play practice tomorrow and I am unusually excited about it. Hmmm I wonder why. I actually don't, but we can pretend. Haha. Oh---Mariana and Connor are trying to set up a thing for us to go to St. Pauls with our play. Yayay again. I haven't seen Mars since...three summers ago? I miss her like whoa. So it would be awesome to see her soon. Connor says that if we go, we will go around the time of our Hilly Chase date at the end of February. We just have to find a venue to use. Does St. Pauls not have a stage? Connor confuses me sometimes....well, I figure that this is long enough...so byebye...

Introduced as "the most serious song you will ever hear"...I do suggest downloading it
When I was a boy of ten
I had a very best friend
Fred was kind with good intent
But just a little different
Oooh, Special Fred
Mama dropped him on his head
Now he's not so bright instead
He's a little bit special
Just a little bit
We'd play tag and he'd get hurt
I'd play a soldier, he'd eat dirt
I liked math and spelling bees
Fred liked talking to a tree
Oooh special Fred
Mama dropped him on his head
Now she keeps him in the shed
'Cause he's a little bit special
Just a little bit
I ran track, hung out at malls
Fred ran headfirst into walls
I had girls and lots of clothes
Fred had names for all his toes
Oooh special fred
Mama dropped him on his head
Now he thinks he's a piece of bread
'Cause he's a little bit special
Just a little bit
One day, when talking to special fred,
He grabbed a brick and he swung at my head
And as he laughed at me, that's when I knew
Special fred just made me special toooo!
Now I laugh as I count bugs
I give strangers great big hugs
Next to me, fred is fine
Yeah, he's a fuckin Einstein
Oooh special fred,
Now we're not right in the head
Now we're not so bright instead
We're a little bit special
Just a little bit special
That fucker fred made me special
Just a little bit
