HOW'S YOUR DRIVING?
So we all know that we have "How's My Driving?" posts rampant on people's journals, and we all know that they aren't very helpful because people never actually post constructive criticism. So to help solve this problem, we have come up with this lovely post, where you can anonymously give concrit/help your fellow RP-ers. This is easier and more efficient than everyone making posts with anon comment enabling, so we have taken the liberty to do so (har har).
How It Works
This post is really simple! All you need to do is reply to the post like this: THIS
And people will reply to your comment with what they have to say about your character, whether it be good or bad news.
Some Guidelines
-Please put your character nation/name in the subject line of your comment and you can choose to leave a little blurb so people will know what areas that you're looking for concrit (constructive criticism) in.
-Anonymous commenting is enabled! So don't be afraid to comment on characters. Lurkers are also welcome to comment!
-This doesn't mean that you have to be anonymous to comment, so you can comment on an account if you so choose.
Some More Rules/Warnings!
-No trolling, flaming, and/or badmouthing. Doing so will result in deletion of your comment, and if this becomes a trend, we will disable anonymous commenting, which means you will have to comment on an account if you choose to do so.
-Also! Please don't post videos, images, etc., instead post a link. If you don't know how to hyperlink, then look here.
-Please remember to make it actual constructive criticism! If you're going to just lavish compliments or insults, then you don't need to comment at all. What we mean is, compliments are great, but simply praise without any helpful substance is not going to fly.
-And last but not least: do not take criticism personally. It's not reflection on you as a person, just how you play your character. Don't get bent out of shape about certain comments.
So, don't be shy or intimidated about posting a comment or asking for concrit! It's all a learning process and we're all big kids here, right? So let's get rolling!
(NOTE: This post is open all the time, so if you're a new member or a new lurker, you can comment/ask for concrit at anytime that you want. Just follow the rules above and you're golden.)
