"don't think of it as debt, think of it as an investment. in the instrument, but also in yourself."
-diane mellon, on my decision to buy a 10k jusek from the 40s

last night was super fun. me and liam sat outside in the gorgeous weather and ate pizza, smoked copious amounts, and just talked until 4am. of course, this meant i had only 8 hours of sleep before work today..but oh well. immediately after work i went uptown to david segal, tried out more cellos...found what i believe to be "the one," a gorgeous john jusek cello from the 1940s, "remastered" and warm. it vibrated my entire body...fucking fabulous. hopefully that and the 1,200 dollar bow will pull through...yipes.

i did meet a girl from juilliard, a cello major, and her 80k cello which sounded like...god. literally.

work is berserk. rather, i need to learn how to improv on cello and learn about blues and jazz. blah blah blah. how is everyone doing?
