I am an atheist too, but there are a lot of things that don't have a scientific explanation yet. For tarot, it's a lot to do with interpretation, emotional and psychological.

Anyway, not everything has to make sense. I can't seem to completely shake my belief in fate and maybe there's a reason for it. Who knows. Maybe we will in a few years when science figures out something new and neat :)
