I can stay silent no long. This truly was that straw the broke the camels back.

It's not just that lists like The Top 50 Movie Endings of All Time is an incredibly lazy idea for an article (how many have there been now?) But why oh why doesn't anyone just sit down and actually watch "Don't look now" if they're planning on including it - instead of just relying on dim recollection?

For those of you who have seen it the real ending does not in fact come when Donald Sutherland finally meets up with the red-clad homicidal dwarf - although that's obviously the image that'll stick with people. There is a scene afterward - of Julie Christie attending his funeral - that places the final piece in this chilling puzzle. The very same image that was the catalyst for DS breakdown earlier in the movie - i.e. he'd witnessed his own funeral and started unraveling and chasing dwarfs as a result.

Just remember this for next time.
