Summer time and the living is easy.
The care-free and placid days of summer are almost here. I hope the past three days' preview will be enough to hold me over. Soon, term papers on donatello's david and homoeroticism in renaissance art, cinco de mayo celebrations with the people I love most, a trip to see Spencer Santiago grow one year older and visit Cedar Point, my sister graduating from high school, old friends re-entering my life with game nights and camping trips.
I anticipate so much the rest of the year to come. As time seems to pass at a steadily increasing rate, I am so thankful for drunk-dials from my beloved husband, the crises in friends' lives that reunite us, and the anticipation of wonderful experiences and the memories that they leave as a parting reminder.
