Just got one of these as a gift. I wish they had left their names. Well played, anon, well played.

Okay, I'll admit - I laughed. But that was a bitch move of anon to do.

Don't be asshats, guy. If you are really about supporting the cause, don't use it as a trolling tool.

Jesus. I barely have the money to buy gas, let alone buy vgifts to randomly hand out to pro-lifers.

That'd be like someone making a Republican donation in my name. I'd be angry.

I agree. I was, oh, so tempted, for half-a-second, to send donation v-gifts to certain angrily "pro-life" posters here, but it makes more sense to send them to people who've articulately attempted to verbally beat some sense into narrow-minded idiots who need to find something to do with their time besides getting up in the uteruses of strangers helped defend the pro-choice side.

It won't upset the other side as much, but that's not as important as donating to the good cause, and not as satisfying as making another pro-choicer happy.

At the bottom you can set gifts to "friends only" or "no anons" or even "disable all." Instructions on how to delete one are here.

'Cause it would apparently be too much to expect people not to try and brand you with what you hate out of pure spite.

giving those to anti-choice assholes is great

and even if u think it is ~objectionable~, it's at least not actually terrible. ppl who are anti-choice are terrible people, so i can't be assed to care

Okay - 1) I'm finding myself EXTREMELY shocked to be advocating for not only politeness (because I'm a bitch who tends to fly off the handle), but for pro-lifers.

What I'm really stepping up to bat for is simply not being an asshole.

2) It's taking a very precious idea (gifting as a donation) and turning into troll-food. That's bullshit and childish. Planned Parenthood deserves better than that.

I LOVE Planned Parenthood. They have done a lot for me. I'm not about to smear that respect by using it as a "Fuck you!" to anti-choicers.

Thank you! I think you may be the second or third (probably actually the first, my brain lost it's ON power about six hours ago in here) to agree.

I really appreciate that.

Come on, man. Don't be like that. I would be PISSED if someone made a donation in my name to Family Foundation or something.

There's plenty of ire to get worked up about around this issue without getting mean.

well happily i really don't give a fuck about the delicate feelings of antichoicers

Pro-lifers ain't exactly my favorite people, either. But unless they come in, guns loaded, I'm willing to talk (or at least snark) about it in a semi-civil position. Feelings haven't got a thing to do with it.

lbr they are always coming in guns loaded. 'murdering children' please
their rhetoric is made to be overly inflammatory so they can puff themselves up when people go oh shut up right off the bat ~because hdu not want to listen to reason~ when really they have no reason, they don't support basic science, they just you know.

have their precious feelings on what life is.

they're as bad as creationists
